Sunday Morning Small Groups

Is the Bible dry, boring and irrelevant? We don't think so! The Bible is filled with priceless treasure hidden in plain sight - our mission is to search it out, mine its meaning, and bring its mysterious beauty to light for everyone. Our way of experiencing it is more like archeology done by Indiana Jones! The group meets in room 111.
Bread of Life
This is a Bible study group for women that meet in our old Library in the main office to discuss Biblical stories and how they impact daily life. The group is led by Prue Wells.
This is a video/discuss based group of adults ages 35-55 that meet in room 1 across from the Old Kitchen and utilizes Rob Bell, Adam Hamilton, and Animate curriculum to stimulate discussion.
Faith Matters Class
Faith Matters embraces a wide variety of ages and has both married and single persons. Each week, we utilize a variety of Bible Study materials to help us grow in our faith. The group meets in room 21 next to the Choir Suite.
The Misfits is a group of young adults (20's and 30's) that understand we are all created uniquely and it is to be celebrated. the group meets upstairs in the Education Building and utilizes a variety of contemporary studies.
New Beginnings Class is a positive, thoughtful group of singles and couples of all ages. The class discusses contemporary issues through a variety of book and video studies. Members of this encouraging class inspire each other to be active in the missions and ministries of our church community. The group meets in room 105.
New Ventures is a class for all women of all ages that seeks to combine Christian study with supportive friendship. At present we are using the Upper Room devotional magazine as our discussion guide. The group meets in room 106 in the Education Building.
The Seekers Sunday Morning class is composed of men and women, married and single, aged 40-plus. We have shared leadership and a discussion format. Most of our material is United Methodist curriculum, but we discuss current events or popular books if the group chooses. We welcome visitors who are encouraged to participate in the discussion. We meet in Room 110 in the Education Building.
The Sojourners Sunday morning group is composed of men and women in their 20's, 30's and 40's. We study contemporary issues related to our faith utilizing a variety of studies. Rob Bell, Adam Hamilton, Max Lucado, and Donald Miller are just a few of the studies we have done. Join us in the Dining Room if you are interested! For more info about Sojourners, contact Todd.
