Jim Conner, Senior Pastor

Dr. Jim Conner is the third son of a preacher and a teacher. Jim was born and raised in the Chicago area. He received a BA in religion and Spanish from Ohio Wesleyan University, a Master of Divinity from Garrett Evangelical Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry form McCormick Theological Seminary.
Jim was ordained in 1983 and served four churches in the Northern Illinois Conference before joining the staff at Fort Worth's First United Methodist Church in 2001. He served there as the Minister of Evangelism and Discipleship.
Jim and his wife Lori have two sons, Tim and Zach. They have been serving Genesis United Methodist Church since June of 2004.
Ginger Watson, Associate Pastor
Ginger Watson, a Fort Worth native, returned home after many years as a labor lawyer in Seattle to pursue her calling to ministry. She received her Masters of Divinity degree from Perkins School of Theology at SMU, and she is currently in the ordination process through our Central Texas Conference.
Ginger and her husband Steve are parents to two young girls, Lola and Ruby. In addition to running after the girls, Ginger loves to read, scrapbook, and watch movies.
